This Elva Mk7s with the number 70/049 was built in January 1964 and imported by Carl Haas, the general importer in Chicago/USA. There, the race car was owned by Messr Parker (1964-1970), Lynch (1971-1985) and Rudd (1986-1989). After that, the car came back to Europe in Italy and France, until finally returning to the UK. There was an overhaul of the chassis, body and engine. In 2014, this MK7s was raced by Chris Rea, the famous singer, at the Silverstone Classic. However, there was a collision with a Lola T70. Chris Rea then drove into the pits and abandoned the race.
2022 übernahm Valentin Schuhmann den Elva Mk7s. The car has been renewed in terms of electrics, oil and fuel lines, heat protection, etc. For this purpose, the bodywork, which was cracked in places, was repaired and repainted. The next step is to adjust the suspension and axle geometry to suit.
