The Lotus Elan S2 underwent a complete rebuild to become a competitive FIA Appendix K period F GTS class race car to the highest standard using parts from Tony Thompson Racing, among others.
In addition to an FIA-compliant Lotus Twincam engine with 171 hp, this also includes period-specific racing parts such as magnesium rims, brake system, chassis, fuel system or a lightweight body.
